New USB GSM/GPRS module

The new USB GSM/GPRS module from HCE Enginnering is a low cost, robust and reliable industrial solution for communicating with your devices to turn appliances on/off, exchange SMS messages for status updates and so on.

The module is fully GNU/Linux compatible via a USB-to-serial converter and the on-board modem can be powered on/off by dedicated USB commands.

Based on the SIM800H quad-band module (850/900/1800/1900MHz) it can be equipped with a GSM antenna SMA right angle BGSM or with a GSM Antenna SMA straight male (cable length 2m) while the SIM card socket is integrated at the bottom side of the board.

Even if designed for the Cosino based boards it can be used on every system with a USB host port.

The product will be available on 2016 Q2.
